Our Miami Office provides a family-friendly environment allowing parents and support team members to watch therapy first-hand through live video monitoring. Progress DVDs are provided to families and support teams to show current levels of performance as well as progress made in therapy. When parents and family members observe sessions, they too learn the strategies which further enhances the generalization of skills learned in therapy. Within our young adult services, our clinicians work on life skills and helping our young adults to be more independent in everyday life and social settings. As they transition into various employment settings, the team works to provide the frontloading needing for them to have the skillset to be successful. When strokes or brain injuries occur, our team works with the client and extended families, school/employment teams, to provide the much needed support to increase independence. Strategies for overall organization, memory, and recall are integrated into the sessions as well as everyday life.
